OUR BACKGROUND

A graduate of Ursuline College in Pepper Pike, Ohio with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Health Services Management, she also holds an Associate Degree in Applied Sciences from Denver Community College in Denver Colorado.

Peggy practiced as a Licensed Practical Nurse and Nursing Assistant before achieving her Registered Nurse license. So she knows first hand the joys and challenges of hands on care.

Her experience in the nursing field has included hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, home health care, acute rehabilitation and even enjoyed the exciting world of traveling nursing.

Prior to achieving Certification in Case Management and Certification in Geriatrics, she had the invaluable experience in cardiology, orthopedics, medical/surgical, post op open heart, tracheostomies, trauma, neurology, rehab, wound care.and geriatrics.

EXPERIENCE & ACCOLADES

Peggy has been the President of the Akron Area Case Managers Association where she was awarded the Case Manager of the Year 2005. She is a member of the Senior Services Network and the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers. Additionally, she was awarded the Second Place Creative Idea 10 yr Anniversary Celebration by the Commission for Case Management Certification.
